But Blanche isn’t just vying to out-sycophant the competition by professing his slavish adoration. He’s also making patently false statements about the propriety of the president weaponizing the Justice Department to smite his political enemies. In Blanche’s telling, justice has never been blind, nor should it be.

“That is the most false statement I’ve ever heard in my life,” he scoffed, when someone pointed out that there has traditionally been a firewall between the White House and DOJ.

That’s horse shit. And it’s horse shit Blanche himself called out just two years ago.
