These white men who believe they are Kings. They show themselves for who they truly are, with every ugly word.

We can’t let them persist as they have: in power, in control. Their fear drives them, the miserable, buried seed of the possibility of their inferiority makes them act with hate, bullying and stupid, ugly cowardice. Their time has to be over.

"Giuliani’s racism was even less coded than his boss’s. At a December 10 hearing of Georgia legislators, he described the women passing USB thumb drives between them, 'as if they’re vials of heroin and cocaine(...)'"

Actually, he said "USB *ports*" -- those rectangular holes that you plug a thumb drive (or, indeed, ANY USB device) into. Not exactly a tech wizard, is he? 🙄😒

I had a sudden vision of people passing USB ports around 😂

They're available wherever Acme portable holes are sold. Coyote tested, Roadrunner approved! 😏

About ten years ago he had his very own cyber security firm, Giuliani and Partners. His claim to fame as a tech wizard and I guess his "expertise" in his Ukrainian adventures working for Trump claiming the Biden family was receiving billions of dollars for, uhhh, something. I guess so Joe could put his son at more legal risk rather than less if he was engaged in illegal conduct by replacing a corrupt prosecutor who refused to investigate Burisma with one who would aggressively battle corruption. A battle interrupted by Trump's buddy Putin invading Ukraine.

Biden was the lead man for Obama, the EU, and IMF in getting corruption out of Ukrainian politics so they could safely start financial aid. But if Hunter had been involved in corruption, it would be like replacing your mother as the judge in your divorce with your wife's mother. Not exactly doing you any favors. But that's what the Republicans claim Joe Biden did and they are sticking with it. News shows never explain it the way I just did, instead leaving it out there with the idea that of course Joe was protecting his son, why else would he do that?

Anyone who ever bought the bogus "America's Mayor" bullshit is no smarter than your run-of-the-mill MAGAt... Fuck the New York Times.

Well analyzed, good insight. It all makes sense when you realize that the contemporary Republican Party is the natural end result of the Southern strategy, the conscious, focused Republican project to exploit and monetize white rage and white fear in order to transform the nation into a sprawling, lawless, coast-to-coast version of a Mississippi small town, circa 1949, under Republican rule.

This project was formally launched at the Republican nominating convention in 1964, the infamous Goldwater Convention , as white rage against civil rights legislation found its voice on a national scale. In an omen of the Trump era to come, radical right delegates attacked "Rockefeller Republicans" as Marxists, communists, socialists, race-mixers, etc. Right wing delegates physically assaulted journalists on the floor and chased Black journalists out of the convention hall screaming racist slurs.

The spew of racial resentment hung over the proceedings like a toxic fog. White wealth clogged the air as well: former Southern Democrat H.L. Hunt, the Texas oil man at one time suspected of having organized/financed the assassination of JFK in Dallas (his involvement is highly improbable, but it didn't seem out of the question at the time), was among the delegates to cast a ballot for Goldwater.

The convention also drew energy from the ten years of venom that had flowed out of the Court's 1954 Brown v Board of Education ruling, metastasizing into a movement: US reactionaries (Southern Democrats as well as right wing Northern Republicans) nationalized race hate on the back of Brown v Board.

It was Brown that enabled the loathsome Jerry Falwell Senior to organize his crusade for "seg academies" to enable white parents to keep their children from attending integrated schools. Falwell, one of the worst men ever to draw breath in this sorry world, saw the profit implications of taking white rage national and institutional. He guessed right: this humble Baptist preacher from impoverished, not to say sordid, beginnings, had a net worth of $10 million when he died.

Past is prologue. Rudy came of age in the GOP of the Southern Strategy. He is only one of its faces: a particularly sordid one at that.

UGLY, racist and taking up too much of the air we all have to breathe. I'm here for the day when rudy the evil clown strokes out preferably at the same time as orange jabba. But pay up first. A girl can dare to dream...

What a sad pathetic little man. How demoralizing that so many sadder and littler and pathetic-er men and women still look up to him and believe his lies.

Even Trump/Guilliani's claim that the water main break was false is false. Water from an overflowing toilet was entering the counting area. Counting was stopped, repairs made, the water cleaned up. Two hours later counting resumed. That the poll workers were still on site tells me the poll watchers fled the scene.

Anyone know what's happened with the sexual harassment/wage theft suit against Rudy? Remember, it was the one where the least revolting thing he was accused of was selling off pardons for $2 million a pop and splitting it with Trump.

I think it’s still in progress. In July the judge rejected his request to move the case to federal court but that’s the most recent article I found.
