Congress should pass a law that will prevent individual judges from issuing nationwide injunctions. What’s the point of districts and circuits if every judge can assume the power of SCOTUS?

I don’t want a redo of any election we’ve lost but I DO want to go back and impeach each and every one of these MAGA judges as soon as humanly possible. From the districts all the way to the Supremes. They are a blight on the judicial system.

It mystifies me that some employers demand non-competes from people they’re laying off or who are taking voluntary severance packages. If you’ve decided an employee is no long suitable for you, why wouldn’t you want them working for your competitor?

If you sign a noncompete and are fired/let go, it is still in effect. So they take away your way of earning a living AND prevent you from getting a job at the same time. I know of a person in the TV business who was let go because of budget cuts but was prevented from getting a job at another station. They don’t want you but don’t want anyone else having you. This is not just on air personalities, but behind the scenes people, camera people, social media people etc. Noncompetes need to be made illegal.

Thanks for putting "Trump Judge" right in the headline and saving me having to Google them to find out that OF COURSE they're a Trump judge making such a stupid and corrupt decision, what did I expect?

Wasn't that 10 Commandments case thrown out because no one had yet to see a poster in a classroom, therefore no one had grounds to sue? Yet this case results in a nationwide injunction before the rule goes into effect? Is the difference that this non-compete issue is a rule and not a law? Or is this just more motivated reasoning by ideological judges?

And thanks so much for your writing, I appreciate your clear and fun explanations of these legal issues, which are normally so inscrutable I could never hope to scrute them!
